Our Red Sea dive story

Auqawoman & Bubbles

We are cocktail leisure divers. We dive slowly, look closely and enjoy simply being in the water together—watching the marine life of the Red Sea and letting every dive tell its own story.

How we dive

We dive to observe, not to rush.

Until now, all of our diving has been in the Red Sea, especially around Hurghada and Makadi Bay in Egypt. We love its reefs, its colours and all of its creatures—from the tiniest shrimp and wonderfully disguised frogfish to the schools of fish moving through the coral gardens.

After our dives I still enjoy doing something wonderfully old-fashioned: I make my dive logs by hand. I draw little maps, fish, corals and the things that happened underwater. The drawings are not meant to be perfect; they are our way of remembering the character of a dive and the small moments a computer log can never quite capture.

That love of keeping a dive history is part of the reason DiveLog Converter exists. Our old logs and memories matter to us, and we wanted a simple way to carry the digital part of that history forward too.

We are still cocktail leisure divers.

No races, no rushing past the reef—just Bubbles, Auqawoman and enough time to stop and see what is hiding there.
